Ballet Students Meet Masonites
To Discuss World Issues

(March 8, 2004)

Students from the Universal School of Ballet in Washington, D.C. (left photo) pose with
Masonites during the ballet school’s visit last Thursday. Ballet school members and
Mason students met for two hours to discuss such questions as "What is your world like?"
and "What can we do to change the world?" In addition to discussing these large,
philosophical questions, students also discussed the differences of life at their two schools.
The Universal students then toured Mason and had lunch with their host tour guides.
The meeting was facilitated by the school’s principal, Dr. George Thoms, who used to be
principal here. In the photo at right, Principal Thoms poses with Lasso Online editor
