| Technical workers attempt to fix
the Dukane Intercom System, which started to malfunction at the end of
last week. Due to this malfunction, the clock and intercom systems are
not working. Taking care of this problem involves careful tracking of literally
hundreds of wires onto a board. "The system cannot be repaired because
it is too old and there is no replacement board," said Terry Dingus, facility

| It is anticipated that
the new system will be on board by the end of this week, although there
is a new system waiting to be installed right now. In the meantime, teachers
are beginning and ending classes without the benefit of clocks and overseeing
the minute of silence and Pledge of Allegiance without the PA. |
