to Cartagena, Colombia  |

we
raced to make our scheduled transit appointment, the Captain held a special meeting to explain the situation and why we also had to sail100 miles out into the Pacific before docking in Panama City |

We
spent this additional time relaxing on deck and participating
in the many varied ship's activities |

We
arrived too late in the evening to go on our planned excursion
(Traditional Panama Experience) The next day we waited in port for our scheduled transit time There were many other ships waiting because of long term drought affecting the locks |
