Aruba (2023)

Miami-Panama-Miami
We were last in Aruba 30 years ago
Aruba is very close to Curacao, our last port
There was a storm at sea and we were unsure about the weather during our tour
The ship was docked between the pier and a reef
We could see ships and oil platforms on the horizon
The weather cleared nicely in time for our excursion
Our first stop was the Casibari Rock Formations

How these huge boulders came to be
on the island remains a mystery

We declined to climbed to the top
of the formation - a huge pile of rocks

Products of the aloe plant
are
a main export of Aruba

We watched demonstrations and toured the factory
Next stop was the California Lighthouse named for a famous shipwreck
Our last stop was one of Aruba's many beaches
