Life would have been different if we hadn't had
a piano in the house - a Winter Spinet - bought
in November 1957 with money earned
picking berries during summers in Forest City, PA
This was taken in Palmyra PA in November 1969

Karen was also becoming an excellent Pianist
How lucky to have an accompanist available

Summer 1981 Mrs Chu thought it best that Jeanne & Mimi study with
              2 different teachers
So at age 12 Jeanne began her FIRST PRIVATE piano lessons
We drove 80 miles each Saturday from Columbus to Dayton to study
              with Barbara Wasson
She was a nationally known teacher who taught many young
children capable of college level repertoire
The following year Karen also began study with Mrs Wasson
