in a class of 4 students in Sept 1975
One of the students was Mimi Lee

We had NO idea what was coming!

January 1977
After 1 year of class piano, Mrs Chu decided to
teach Jeannie and Mimi together at duo pianos in her studio
since they were so evenly matched
After 5 months, Mrs Chu entered them in their 1st competition

After Jeannie played for the judge in the preliminaries in March 77, he came out to ask me
if I knew that she had "perfect pitch" and could take "4 part dictation"
Not only did I not KNOW that, I had no idea what he was talking about

Nicklaus, the "Golden Bear" was a native of
Upper Arlington where his father owned
a pharmacy still operated under the Nicklaus name

The "Muirfield Memorial" Golf Tournament was
in honor of his father.

At the Grand Opening of Muirfield in 1977
local musicians were invited to perform in different
venues along the tour of the village.

At the Final Competition the Emcee annouced this performance
and that "500 people including 2 Bishops would be in attendance"
