St. Anthony's Lithuanian Roman Catholic Church was built in 1894 to serve the growing immigrant population from Lithuania.
My Dad Frank Paukstis (1st row, 6th from the left) was a member of the 1926 First Communion Class
His certificate below lists his Lithuanian name - Pranas
I took these pictures in 1999 when I learned that St. Anthony's was going to be demolished along with several other Catholic churches in Forest City. The town in which 5 Roman Catholic churches once served separate immigrant populations now has one parish (Ascension) located in the former Slovenian Church (St. Joseph's)

This is the "Hail Mary" in Lithuanian. I'm not sure who gave this to me.
