Students concerned about the
injustice in Darfur hold the banner that scores of Mustangs
contributed to by painting their hands red and leaving their imprints. The banner will be sent to Africa Action, a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C.,
to be placed on the mall this summer alongside hundreds
of other banners from all over the nation. From left to
right are juniors Ariel Gonzales, Soorya Namboodiri, Tracy
Poon, and seniors Catherine Duarte, Adina Pollack, and
Katie Turner. (Photo by K-K Bracken)
