Neither cold, nor dark of night nor lack of funds shall stay the installation of the school mosaic. The project was to have been accomplished over the Christmas holidays, but now it is slated for over the Easter holidays. The mosaic will cost $570. The SCA will appropriate $400 and the graduated class of 1967 will provide an additional $170.It will be installed inside a tile on the floor of the library lobby. The mosaic will, consist of a red quartz mustang with a white quartz background. It will be surrounded by a brass ring. The School Board unanimously approved the construction. The Board reached its decision after hearing "an outstanding presentation" from Kip Hewitt and Margaret Hannum.
