Seventh
grader Morgan Eldred, left, chats with junior Morgan Moscati,
her mentor for the day, and the two get acquainted. Yesterday
and today all the seventh graders visited George Mason High School, their home of the future,
to get a sense of what it’s all about. Most of the seventh graders were paired with eighth graders, but several
older Mustang Ambassadors helped out as well. Ms. Suzanne Planas and Mr. Kent Foster helped
organize the visits. Seventh grader Bryan Ward said, “I like
the school. It’s interesting seeing the classes during school
hours. It’ll be a big change from the way things are done at
MEHMS.” “I personally
think it’s a fun experience and it’s a great way to get to
know people and reconnect with people you already know,” said
seventh grader Hadleigh Rhodes. (Lasso Online photo)
