Senior Hunter Burkey, right, gets assistance with his NESA (National Eagle Scout Association) sash from his brother Daniel, a 2005 graduate of Mason and himself an Eagle Scout. Hunter began scouting 11 years ago and has worked toward his Eagle Scout certification for several years. He received the honor last Sunday in an Eagle Court of Honor at the Little Falls Presbyterian Church. On Monday night Virginia Delegate Jim Scott made a presentation to Hunter at the troop’s annual Court of Honor Dinner.
