Students
in Ms. Knoke’s geometry class used a clever way to determine
the height of really tall things like light posts by measuring
shorter objects, like themselves, then measuring the shorter
objects’ shadows. Then, by measuring the shadow of the really
tall object, they can tell indirectly how tall it is. From
