Interpreter Offers Insights
To ASL Students

Mr. Raymond Anderson (standing), a college American Sign Language instructor, ASL tutor, and Freelance Sign Interpreter, visited Ms. Kris daCosta’s beginning and intermediate ASL classes recently. Mr. Anderson, a hearing person, talked about his experiences learning sign language and becoming an interpreter. He also discussed careers in interpreting and explained how telephone relay services work. According to Ms. daCosta, “The students enjoyed Mr. Anderson’s humorous antics and listening to his experiences. (Photo by Hunter Burkey)
