A gathering of old friends, including Mason graduates, recently took place on the campus of the University of Virginia as dear friends of Nora Hemphill, Mason Class of 2005, met at a charity fashion show that was staged in her honor and memory and which raised money for the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. The event was organized by FORCE (Fighting, Overcoming, and Responding to Cancer Everywhere), which Nora belonged to and was very active in during her year at the University of Virginia.
