District Finals Double ‘Header’
Tonight Home and Away

Senior midfielder Jack Setje fights for a header in front of the goal this past Tuesday in the district semifinals against Strasburg who the Mustangs crushed 9-1.  The team faces Rappahannock at home in the finals tonight at 7 o’clock.  Also victorious on Tuesday was the girls’ team which beat Madison County 6-0. The girls will travel to rival Clarke County tonight for the championship.  The girls’ varsity team has tried and failed to defeat Clarke twice already this year.  Both boys’ and girls’ teams are safely into the regional tournament, but victories would secure more home games deeper into the postseason.  (Photo by Ted Peetz) 5-24-07
