Spice Up International Dinner

Members of the boys’ varsity soccer team, above, were among the nearly 100 people who enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes at Wednesday’s night’s International Dinner, an annual feast sponsored by the International Club. The potluck dinner, which included plates from Peru, China, Thailand, Australia, Bolivia, Spain and other countries. As diners sampled diverse foods from paella to biryani to empanadas, they were entertained by native dances and songs from India, Bolivia and Ireland.  The club also sold cookbooks filled with recipes contributed by Mason families. Proceeds from sales will be donated to Falls Church’s sister city, Kokolopori, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. (Photo by Anna Duning)  4-27-07
