Still Sending Good Will Overseas

Juniors Nicole Williamson, Samantha Shaw, Meredith Hamme, and Maddie Kaplow write letters to soldiers stationed in Iraq to be included in the care packages sent to members of The First Lightning Division, which the Mustang Ambassadors adopted earlier this year. This is the fourth of a scheduled six mailings scheduled for this year. The packages contain such items as travel sized toiletries, some baked goods, snacks, stress balls, puzzles, and other items such as magazines to help them take their minds off their difficult daily duties.  Most of these items are generously donated by teachers and students. Other items are bought by Mustang Ambassadors who are assigned to a certain soldier to make sure their package is full of individual goodies. (Lasso Online photo)  4-25-07
