Wow, What a Thumbs-Up Day Seniors Donate 56 Pints of Blood
In spite of a three-hour delay
due to vandalism to the blood donor service vehicles, the annual
senior class blood
drive recovered in fine fashion today as seniors and staff members
rallied and in only a little over three hours donated 56 pints of
usable blood. Altogether, 64 donors contributed. Here, senior Carmen
Reich gives the thumbs up sign as she begins her donating. Fellow
senior Ben Zorn is by her side to lend a hand. The drive was so successful,
that senior organizer Anna Duning hopes to have a second drive in
the spring. (Photo by Anna Duning) 11/28/06
