Mason Chapter of National Honor
Society Inducts 25 New Members

Twenty-five sophomores, juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society on Monday night. Above, Andres Ramos, Karina Robarge, Elizabeth Rose, and Anna Solgunova, prepare to take the New Members’ Pledge at the induction ceremony. The students were selected for membership based on the four main pillars of the organization – scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  The current NHS officers (President Brian Glover, Vice President Elizabeth Fortenberry, Secretary Catherine Duarte, and Treasurer Peter Davis) spoke to the new inductees on these themes. Principal Snee led them in the New Members’ Pledge.  The GMHS Jazz Ensemble also performed two selections (“In the Doghouse” and “Soul Man”) at the annual ceremony.
