Mustangs Win by 37 Strokes
Over
Manassas Park

The Mustangs drove, chipped, and putted their way to a 37-stroke victory against Manassas Park last week.  The match started when the first group came in with the Mustangs up eight strokes.


When the second group came in, the lead increased by 20 more strokes until Cody Peeble closed the match out adding nine more strokes to the margin of victory.

The team was led by juniors Cody Peeble’s 42 and Derek Blodgett’s 46. Peeble’s score was his best of this season.

Sean Follin and Paul Mene rounded out the top four with sub-par rounds of 47.

Andy Pribulka and Drew Davies also played, but missed the top four by a combined margin of four strokes.

The victory over Manassas Park puts the Mustangs at 4-5. The last match before districts is tomorrow against second place Strasburg.
