Over Rappahannock County

The
Mustangs defeated Rappahannock County for the second
time this year last Thursday at Front Royal’s
Bowling
Green Golf Course in Front Royal. The
Mason team was led by Paul Mene’s score of
40, Andy Pribulka’s 44, Drew Davies’s 45,
and Sean Follin’s 46.
Derek
Blodgett and Mike Straub rounded out the top six with scores of 48 and
50,
respectively. Future players Michael Duning and Michael Wolfe, as well as veteran Imran Jaffer,
helped cheer the
team to victory.
The
Mustangs now have a record of 3-5, with two wins over Rappahannock County and one win over Manassass Park. To finish the
season, the team will need to
play against Manassas Park and Strasburg. The
Mustangs are especially eager to defeat
their next two opponents in order to bring their record to an even 5-5. The team members are confident that if the
players continue their current level of play, they will come out of the
season
with a strong record. They are also
confident about their chances in the District tournament, which will
also be
held at Bowling Green Golf Course at the conclusion of the season.
