The Mustangs are now preparing to face Heritage in the
district playoffs Thursday night at home. Earlier in the season Mason
defeated Heritage 11 to 7. This will be the first appearance for George
Mason in the Dulles District playoffs. Coaches Kara Hanover and Meghan
Coulter are hoping for great things to come from their Mason lacrosse
team. In the regular season the team has finished with a winning record
of 6 and 3 with their win against Freedom earning them the home field
advantage. The Mustangs are hopeful that they can defeat Heritage again
and go on to the district playoffs.
