Mountaineers Win 3-0;
Put Damper on Senior Night

Senior Night for the girls’ volleyball team was a disappointing one as the Madison County Mountaineers beat the Mustangs 3-0 last night at home.

 

Brittany Head and Kate Root kept the Mustangs from being blown away with excellent serves along with fine sets by Anna Laphrope. Sabrina Whitney also contributed with immense spikes, yet it was not enough to hold the commanding and fierce Mountaineers.  
The Lady Mustangs were taken by surprise by the quick attacks from the Madison Mountaineers. Several Mason players said that their performances were below par and that they were disappointed in their performance.
 
The Mustangs play Clark County Thursday hoping to come out with a stronger showing.
