Lady Mustangs Win 3 in a Row
After Loss to Eagles

The varsity
Lady Mustangs have snatched three straight district victories these last
two weeks, clobbering Strasburg 62-38, Rappahannock 61-42,
and Manassas Park 60-27
as the team racked up the points and improved its district record to 5-1.
Earlier this month the Lady Mustangs came off a disappointing loss at Clarke County,
as their senior center Alex Pender was benched for an ankle injury. Senior
forward Maggie O’Toole stepped up to the challenge, and had one of her
best games yet as she dropped 24 points for her away team in its first
district match-up.
Last Thursday was the only home game the Lady Mustangs
have played this week, and they definitely showed their strength as
they beat the Manassas Park Cougars 60-27. Senior Maggie O’Toole is
on track for one of her best seasons, as she is very close to the 1,000
career point mark.
