Student Council sponsors Ms. Karin Tooze and Ms. Jennifer Jayson accepted gifts of gratitude for their hard-work throughout the year at the annual SCA Spring Retreat held in Olney Park last Friday. They were given Mustang bookends (shown above) because, as reigning President Emily Walden stated, “It takes two heads rather than one to run the club.” The duo will continue to offer their support and guidance as they embark on their second year working together as co-sponsors of the SCA. In the adjacent photo, newly-elected members of the club engage in a “Zoom” activity designed for promoting leadership and cooperation within a group.
