Performers Rock the House
As JV Show Raises $2,000 for Prom

With literally two dozen acts and scores of performers, the annual Junior Variety Show was one of the largest in years. The show, directed by Ms. Mary Jo Webster and coordinated by Mr. John Ballou, raised $2,000 for the junior class to help pay for prom. Junior Jamilka Gonzalez brought down the house with her rendition of Bruce Hornsby’s “Walking in Memphis” and freshman Michael Guy was on guitar as his group Basmati played “Yard Bags” and “Red Dress,” both original compositions.
