Faculty Share Unique Expertise
In Professional Development Conference
(full story)
In a
workshop designed to provide “stress relief,” faculty members Christina
Leggett, left, and Stephanie Hulke, learn how to shoot an arrow in
their archery class taught by members of the physical education
department. This workshop was one of 37 taught by faculty members in a
wide variety of disciplines and topics. In an experiment that was
acclaimed by a large majority of participants, the faculty members
conducted their own mini professional development presentations for
their colleagues. Assistant Principal Tim Guy, who was instrumental in
planning the day, said, “I think it shows a paradigm shift in how we’ll
go about professional development in the future.” (Lasso Online photo)
