Based on PSAT Result Seven
seniors earned National Merit honors as a result of their strong
performances on the PSAT/NMSQT that they took last year. Three
students, Maya Cough-Schulze, Ryan Hinely, and Alexandra Holachek, have
been named National Merit Semifinalists and four others, Elizabeth
Elliott, Jennifer Jenkins (not present for photo), Nicholas Pitas, and
Laura Shu have been named Commended Students. The PSAT was taken by
over one million eleventh grade students. About 34,000 students were
recognized as Commended Students and 16,000 students were named
Semifinalists. Principal Bob Snee, above surrounded by this year’s
honorees, made the announcement yesterday. At right is Mr. Ken Siekman,
