New Senior Class Project The senior class raised almost $1,200 for the Falls Church Winter Shelter for the Homeless at Saturday’s Book Fair in the Mustang Café. Nearly 3,000 books, ranging from travel guides and children’s books to self-help manuals and adult fiction, were on sale from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the fundraiser. Students, parents, faculty, and other Falls Church residents donated the books for this new senior class project, which has replaced the annual fashion show fundraiser. The Bread House also generously donated baked goods to sell at the event. The project was spearheaded by senior class advisor Ms. Kurowski, and was made possible through the efforts of many seniors and juniors, including Stuart Gregg, Maggie Person, Eric Brooks, Tina Parson, Jackie Zaccor, Nana Saynieva and Lisa Razzi, who helped organize, display, and sell all of the reading material.
