But Can They Stick To Them?
Students and Faculty Share
New Year’s Resolutions

What would the New Year be without resolutions? We don’t even want to hazard a guess. Here, we present a list of resolutions of faculty and students. Next month, look for our investigative report of how many people stick to them past January 15th.

“To be nicer to my friends.”
Grace Kuipers, Gr8

“Play bass guitar better.”
Tim Koning, Freshman

“To not be such a gusta-face and keep reppin’ the FC, yo!”
"
Gordon Matthewson, Sophomore

“I resolve to meet Santa Claus.”
Peter Davis, Sophomore

“Run a half (mini)marathon.”
Ms. Tooze, Faculty

“Break 2,000 miles on my bike.”
Ms. Jayson, Faculty

“Try to stay fit.”
Mr. Martinez, Faculty

“Obtain a better grade in English.”
Valerie Negron, Freshman

“To put out more and timelier issues of LASSO Online.”

Mr. Hoover, Faculty

“I will install an applause sign in the band room.  I will take the trumpet players’ advice (freely given, I might add) more often on song selection, after all, ‘Bolero’ was their idea.  Lastly, I will never ever walk barefoot in the band room where the brass players sit.  One only knows what you could catch back there!  Oh, and drummers, I mean percussionists, I will never ever put another stick or piece of music away and ask for …more cowbell!”

Mrs. Webster, Faculty

“To save money and donate it to a wildlife conservation fund.”
Liz Rose, Sophomore
“Appreciate.”
Meredith Hamme, Sophomore
