A Young Man’s First Love
Observations of a Guy with a
Dream Car with a Chrome Tailpipe

            2006 Ford Mustang: The Experience
            The
love affair between a young man and his car—especially his first car—is
famous in the annals of this country. Junior Jeremiah Upton recently
received the gift of a brand new, Vista Blue, Ford Mustang, every
guy’s dream car. The car even has a chrome tailpipe! Lasso Online
asked Jeremiah to share his thoughts and feelings about his new
                love:
            Going
120 mph down the highway with no traffic in sight and that’s just about all that’s on your mind. Nah, that’ll
never happen because mom is sitting right next to you and telling
you to go10 mph under the speed limit to ensure no accidents. Sadly
frowning as a 1987 diesel Benz passes you and laughs at your face.
I was surprised at the situation, but I thought to myself, I could
smoke this guy and give my mother a heart attack or . . . go along
with it and be able to drive the Mustang another day.
This car is a symbol of my independence to the
oncoming and fast-paced world and I believe it sums it up quite
well. The best part about it is the smell. You know that new car
smell that is so great?  A vista blue attracts the attention of the
surrounding people which is quite nice to enjoy compliments. The
real trouble is to explain that the car isn’t yours for another
seven months, which can be depressing at times. From the chromo
tail pipe to the chrome grill it is brand new, but seven months
away from being my own. It’s like waiting in line to buy a dog
for the first time and the line just doesn’t seem to move anywhere.
The Mustang has a six CD unit built into the dashboard so you don’t
have to lose your CDs in the car. It isn’t used a lot with the Ipod plus Itrip combination
which lets you enjoy the 30 thousand plus songs from there.

            Ford has redesigned the 1966
Mustang which decades ago shook up the middle class Americans’ wallets and captivated
generations to come. That is the idea on which today’s ‘06 has
come from and yet again they have caught the eye of not just only
the youth, but the rest of the family as well. I think Ford is
taking it up a notch in the design of the 06 and hope they keep
this good trend going. Bottom line: she’s a sweet machine.
