Adam Knudsen ( Mason set out last night to revenge a loss earlier in the season against the Central Woodstock Eagles but, missing three of their starters due to illness and injury, the Mustangs spent most of the night chasing the lead. In the end Mason lost 63-51 to this smaller but well equipped team. Junior Travis Green led the Mustangs with 10 points and freshman Mike Schwengel led with five assists and seven points. The George Mason Mustangs couldn’t find their game shooting poorly from the free throw line making only five of the 25 field goals attempted and had 15 turnovers in the second half of the game. Mason will host the Strasburg Rams this Tuesday and intend on revenging the past losses and find their game again at home. The Mustangs now stand at 2-4 Monday night against The Mustangs were led by Josiah Larson with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Sean Dawson with 10 points, and Will Straub with eight points.
