Golfers Close Out Season;
McDonald Shoots 80 at Regionals

Following a strong 9-1 regular season, and a second-place finish in the District Tournament, the golf team closed out its season yesterday at the Region B golf tournament at Providence Golf Course in Richmond.

The team finished with a total score of 352. The team was led by senior Dan McDonald with an 80, which was only two shots from making it to the state tournament. Sophomore Ben Lasso shot an 86, with Andy Walsh and Paul Mene adding a pair of 93’s. Andy Pribulka had his lowest score in competition with a 97 and Sean Follin came in with a 102. "All in all it was a great season with a lot of promise for the future," said coach Dan Wilkie.

Last week in districts the team came in second. The players who participated in the district tournament were Dan McDonald who led with an 84. Paul Mene with a score of 86, followed by Ben Lasso, Andy Walsh, Andy Pribulka and Sean Fallin scoring respectively 87, 94, 99, and 106.
