GM Students Accept the 'Challenge'

Students gather to register for the Design Challenge Contest sponsored by Verizon.  Fiber optic (FIOS) cable has been installed in two GM labs. Students will receive instruction in a variety of software applications enabling them to produce a music video, design a graphic poster or build a website which then can be submitted to the competition.  Nineteen prizes will be awarded including a $5,000 scholarship, HP laptop computers and Apple iPod photos.  Registration continues through Friday, April 22, 2005.  Classes will be held Monday through Friday, April 25 - May 6.   The instructors will be available in open labs from May 9 - 26.  For more information contact Mr. Ballou or Ms. Backofen.
