News updated 4/7/05	Meet Mr. and Ms. Mason    (full story)      Seniors Nora Hemphill, Dan Burkey, and Chad O’Hara were three of 11 seniors, and 15 students overall, who competed to become Mr. and Ms. Mason last Friday night. Chad O’Hara and Nora Hemphill, incidentally Homecoming King and Queen, were crowned as the victors for the fifth annual competition, after competing in the contest which featured various talents performed by the students, as well evening wear and interview competitions. Hemphill mesmerized the audience with magic tricks while O’Hara enchanted the audience in a different way with his balloon animal-rap duo. Burkey, adorned with bananas, sang his own rendition of “Yes, We Have No Bananas.” All proceeds from the competition were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
