News updated 3/2/05	Celebrating Black History Month Display Features Local Hero Mary Ellen Henderson         Seniors Jasmin Willis, left, and Kate Lauer put the finishing touches on the Black History Month decorations in the display case in the main lobby. Here they adjust the kente cloth that frames artifacts from South Africa and East Africa and photos of African American notables such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. Of particular relevance this year is the photo of Mary Ellen Henderson, a Falls Church resident and early Civil Rights activist.
