News updated 2/7/05	*Girls’ Varsity Basketball* After Finishing 2nd in District, Mustangs Fall to Eagles to Close Out Season *6 Seniors Honored for 19 Years of Varsity Play* With a combination of 19 years spent on the girls’ varsity basketball team, seniors Katerina Zissios (2 years varsity), Christina Kirkbride (3 years), Katlyn Rose-McCully (4 years) Claudia Daisley (3 years), Lena Griffin (4 years), and Alison Van Pelt (3 years) were recognized at Senior Night held during the Lady Mustangs’ last home game against Strasburg High School Wednesday a week ago. The Strasburg Rams defeated the Mustangs 62-47 leaving the Lady Mustangs ranked second in the Bull Run District with a record of 14-8. The second-place ranking gave the Mustangs a bye in the first of the district tournament and last night they faced Clarke County in the semifinal game against Clarke County.
