News updated 1/14/05	*Outpouring from Community* Relief Is on the Way as Countdown Begins to Saturday’s Fundraisers Ms. Margie Speir, attendance secretary, and Ms. Karin Tooze, English teacher, sort through the mountain of goods that is still growing in the library lobby as community members continue to drop off items for tomorrow’s huge white elephant sale. The sale and a silent auction, craft fair, battle of the bands, reception and benefit concert all take place tomorrow as George Mason High School raises funds for relief for the victims of the tsunami in South Asia. As of this afternoon, over $6,000 had been raised, but the students and teachers are aiming much higher.
