"Murder on the Nile," a murder mystery by Agatha Christie, performed by a 15-person cast at Mason last Thursday through Saturday, was filled with glittery costumes, glamorous dresses, and dazzling jewelry.

Jackie, played by Elise Edwards, deliberately became drunk when she realized Simon, her ex-lover played by Greg Corbino, loves rich Kay, played by Annie Wanlund, who was coincidentally her best friend.

In this drunken, jealous rage, Jackie shoots Simon in the leg, shortly before Kay was murdered in her room. The mystery unfolds as the audience tries to unmask the killer. Director Frank Marino kept the tension high while Kay’s godfather, Cannon, played by Matt Meyer, investigated the murder.

Senior Bill Bacon exclaimed, "I loved it!" Senior Lisa Collins also voiced her appreciation, saying, "I think that they really pulled it together because there were stories of people not knowing their lines, but when they got there, the performers were wonderful!"
