Seniors Face Off against Faculty
In Fundraising Game Tonight

By: Becky Roa (March 30, 2004)

The first annual staff versus seniors basketball game of the modern era will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the main gym. The idea was created by a group of teachers, coaches, and parents to both raise money for this years’ All-Night Graduation Celebration and to provide an activity in which teachers and students could interact in a friendly game outside of the classrooms.

The game will consist of the female staff playing the female seniors coached by Becky Roa for two of the quarters and the male staff playing against the male seniors coached by Matt Williams for the other two, switching every quarter. During the game’s halftime senior sponsor Mr. Hoover will be announcing the winner of the raffle for a guaranteed parking space in the visitors’ parking lot for the remainder of the year. Mr. Hoover will also announce the winner of the All-Night Graduation Celebration T-shirt Contest. The game is open to the entire community; the cost of admission is $5. Included with admission is a slice of pizza and a soda.
