 Wrestlers Take 3rd in States;
Highest Finish in Mason History   (full story)

Members of the varsity wrestling team and their coaches rejoice in their third place finish at the State Championship tournament at Salem, VA. This is the highest finish in the school’s history. Senior Mac Cohe (171 lbs) and sophomore Nick Pitas (112 lbs) placed second. Senior Devlan Melancon (145 lbs) and Colin Ehmer (140 lbs) finished a close third and fourth place, respectively. Junior John Sullivan (160 lbs) placed fifth and sophomore Mike Coleman (125 lbs), while not placing, still played a crucial role in the overall points total. (Photo by Leslie Rye)    3/8/04
