 Observing Deaf History Heritage Month 
Quest Celebrates Poetry 
Signing, Speaking, Sensing   (full story)

Professional actors Shira Grabelsky and Mike Harper celebrate poetry through the senses during an assembly by Quest, a deaf and hearing non-profit theater company that performed at Mason Tuesday in observance of Deaf History Heritage Month. The two actors interpreted poems through spoken language, sign language and body movements. In addition to the assembly, Quest, led by Tim McCarty, also conducted a morning workshop to on how to apply theater, mime, and sign language techniques to literature.
