Achieving victories
for the team were all six singles lines which included Christina Sedney,
Alex LaCoste, Meredith Crosby, Emily Phelps, Paige Dorsey and Lyda Drayer.
Mason’s three lines of doubles were also victorious with Sedney and LaCoste,
Dorsey and Phelps, and Stephanie Melkonian all achieving solid wins.
After last Wednesday's victory over
Clarke County, along with Monday’s, Mason has achieved another district
championship, which means that the team will be advancing to the regional
competition later in the month. This weekend is the singles/doubles competition,
in which Sedney and LaCoste will both be competing here at home. The team
regional competition is less than weeks away and will be held at Longwood
College. |

competition last week |
The team is training hard, and keeping
their eye on the gold, a state championship title. In order to advance
to states the team will have to perform well at the regional competition.
