The Lady Mustangs trampled the Manassas Park Cougars 10-0 on Cougar territory Wednesday night. Two minutes after the start of the game juniors Alison Penland and Rebecca Roa assisted each another with back-to-back goals, putting Mason at 4-0. Before the end of the half Roa added two more goals. 

Going into the second half, Penland quickly scored her third goal, and shortly after Roa left the game with her last goal putting the ‘Stangs up 8-0. With the offense being so strong, the defenders became offensive threats as well.

Leading by such a large margin, coach "Cliff" decided to give equal opportunity to the second-string players. Late into the second half, sophomores Maggie Person and Sam Wolf concluded the game with their first goals of the season.

The team will take on Madison County on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
