Lasso Online Staff (September 25, 2002)

Nine George Mason seniors were recognized as Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation this past Tuesday. Tammy Ashworth, Betsy Breen, Jonathan Costa, Matt Eddleman, Caroline Habicht, Michael Miller, Charmaine Nerone, Stacey Redick, and Christina Sedney received certificates of commendation for their PSAT results, which were among the top 50,000 in the country. This photo was taken on Hip Hop Day of Spirit Week which helps explain some of the more exotic clothing worn by these scholars.
