 Scholastic Bowl
Tense Moments as Team Wins Districts;
Scholars Move on to Regionals

In the Bull Run District Scholastic Bowl competition at Clarke County Saturday, the Mustangs experienced some tense moments as is evident in the faces of Rahul Gupta, Dan Bray and Evan Cunningham. Putting their 12-0 regular season record on the line, the team beat Clarke county in the first round 270-100, then eked out a close one against Mannassas Park in the semifinals 180-150. In the finals the Mustangs once again beat Clarke 200-120. The team moves on to regional competition in two weeks.    (Photo by Lasso Staff)  1/21/03
