Friday afternoon brought smiles to the
George Mason librarians due to the arrival of approximately 600 newly received
books. Of the 600, most of the books were in the categories of social studies,
English, and science. "We try to get a little of everything," said head
librarian Mrs. O’Connell as she sorted through the books. She also added
that the books are selected "only by the reviews they read in professional
journals." The new books will be available for perusal beginning Tuesday
of next week and students can check them out beginning Wednesday afternoon
after school.
