Southern Comfort To Play at Zig’s
In Alexandria Tomorrow Night

Tomorrow evening, November 14, George Mason’s own Southern Comfort will be playing at Zig’s Restaurant and Bar in Alexandria tomorrow night, November 14.  The Music begins at 8, and Southern Comfort takes the stage around 9, and should play for close to two hours.

The band is made up of Mason students William Henneberg on drums, Chris Campanelli on lead guitar, Gordon Daisley on rhythm guitar, and former Darkhorse frontman Vorgon, aka John Ruffino.

You will hear 12 original songs ranging from “Ol’ Virginia” and “Feel the Flow” to more recent songs that are yet to be revealed.   In addition, you will hear various covers such as Neil Young’s “Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World,” CCR’s “Up Around the Bend,” Tom Petty’s “You Wreck Me Baby,” to name a few. 

Southern Comfort has been together for a little over a year now.  In October 2001 the band played their first show, winning the Battle of the Bands at the Falls Church Community Center.  In March they recorded their first CD.  DIRECTIONS TO ZIG'S RESTAURANT
