First-Ever Battle of High School Bands Features 2 George Mason Groups

The Falls Church Community Center will play host to the first-ever Battle of the High School Bands on Saturday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m.

George Mason’s own Feedback and Southern Comfort are slated to compete alongside McLean’s Breaking Ground. Also scheduled to perform is special guest Upper Cut, an up-and-coming local rock group.

The winning band will be determined by three judges awarding points based on crowd response, variety, content and stage presence. Thirty percent of the proceeds will go to the first-place band, 15 percent to second place and 10 percent to third place.

Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 7:30 and is expected to last until around 11:30. Admission is $5.
