In front of a mountain of luggage, a few of the 24 French students prepare for today’s departure for Toulouse, where they will hone their language skills while living with their host families. This is the fourth year that Madame Johnsen has taken her students to France during spring break. The students from France were supposed to have visited America last fall, but the September 11 tragedy changed those plans. Madame Snyder and some of her students are also on the exchange.
